A Day Made Better

Ms. Oshodin is a veteran teacher. She teaches special education students who are cognitively delayed. The students come to Ms. Oshodin very, very low functioning in the areas of academics and social skills. Ms. Oshodin goes over and beyond to teach her students. She accepts them for who they are, knows their potential, and has very high expectations for each child. Ms. Oshodin teaches her students as if they are gifted beyond their label. They can do it all-writing, reading, math, special projects, and all activities that regular students participate in. She has a wonderful relationship with the parents where communication is positive and consistent. Ms. Oshodins passion is teaching, she is dedicated, and she and her students deserve "A Day Made Better""!! Thank You! Janice Richardson
